Gene Austin Littlejohn

Gene Austin Littlejohn of Highlands, Texas born February 11, 1935. Gene went to be with his Lord on August 31, 2022. He died peacefully at his home.

Gene grew up in Union, South Carolina. He had a career in wholesale food sales. He was a member of Nothside Baptist Church since 1971, where he served as music minister for 32 years. He was a gifted singer and guitarist. He loved his family, including church family.

Preceded in death by; grandmother Lela Littlejohn; mother Ruby Sanders Littlejohn; father Austin Littlejohn.

Survived by; wife Linda K Littlejohn; son and daughter-in-law Marlon Wayne and Karen Marie Littlejohn; daughter and son-in-law Crystal Lyn and Michael Shane Little; seven grandchildren Jesse Wayne, Magdalene Love and Stephen Ray Littlejohn, Seth Austin and Shane Daniel Cervenka, Cullen Price Little, Allison and Ivan Alvarez; great-granddaughter Cecelia Rose Alvarez; brother and sister-in-law Andy and Kay Littlejohn of Union, South Carolina, niece Andrea and her husband Kurt Hitzeman and Great Niece Lilly Kate Hitzeman; aunt Opal Sanders of Union, South Carolina
