George Russell Nelson

Mr. George Russell Nelson, age 30 of 105 Lula Green Rd., Union, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025.

Mr. Nelson was born in Union, August 10, 1994, a son of Virginia Nelson Baldwin and the late Louie Jake DeHart, Jr.  He attended Union High School and had worked in the textile industry.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his step-father, David Baldwin; two step-sisters, Leah Baldwin and Savannah Baldwin both of Union; two aunts, Beth Bartlett and husband David, and Joyce Nelson all of Union and an uncle, Marvin Nelson of Union. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Frances B. Nelson and an uncle, Calvin James Nelson.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Nelson Family Cemetery at 105 Lula Green Rd., Union.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the graveside.
