George Michael Tyler

Mr. George Michael Tyler, age 76, of Whitten Center, Clinton SC, went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 14, 2025, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.

Mr. Tyler was born, October 1, 1948, in Whitmire, a son of the late Edgar George Tyler and Sara Adams Tyler. He was known as God's Special Angel by immediate family. Mike was also loved and cared for many years by his Whitten Center family.

Surviving are two sisters, Alice Sorrells of Union and Gail (Buddy) Phillips of Murrells inlet, SC and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Tyler was predeceased by a brother, Larry Tyler.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, March 17,2025, at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Dr. William H. (Buddy) Phillips and Rev. Richard Lewis.

The family is at the home of Alice Sorrells, 103 Gregory St Union SC.
