Gerald S. Vaughan

January 5, 2020 Mr. Gerald Smith Vaughan, age 82, of 823 Brown's Creek Church Rd., widower of Barbara Eubanks Vaughan, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vaughan was born in Union, July 16,1937, a son of the late C.C. and Bertie Ailene Vaughan. He was a graduate of Union High School and a retired textile worker. Mr. Vaughan was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Timothy Vaughan; three sisters, Shirley Bobo, Joyce Adams and husband Ernest, and Rita Sanders and husband Timmy all of Union; two brothers, Larry Vaughan and wife Sue and Chris Vaughan and wife Pam all of Union; one granddaughter, five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mr. Vaughan was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Vaughan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2020 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Bell. The family will be at their respective homes.
