Geraldine Sanders Thomas Union, SC Mrs. Geraldine Sanders Thomas, age 81 of 309 Gage Avenue, Union, widow of Charles Thomas, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Thomas was born in Union, SC January 2, 1934, a daughter of the late William K. Sanders and Lonnie Frost Sanders. She was a homemaker and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Jo Anne T. Millwood and husband James Edward "Monk"; a son, Billy Thomas all of Buffalo; four grandchildren: James Edward "Eddie" Millwood, Jr. of Buffalo, Nikki Silvey, April Trammel both of Union and Angela Thomas of Taylors and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Robert Chapman, Rev. Tommy McManus and Rev. Wayne Cooke. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Geraldine S. Thomas Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
