Geraldine Grant Union, Sc

Mrs. Geraldine Grant, age 74 of 149 Martin Rd., Union, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mrs. Grant was born in Union, September 1, 1940 a daughter of the late Gladys Grant Jolly. She was a homemaker and a member of Lower Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Tammie Henderson of Rutherfordton, NC and Marie Ann Wright of Spartanburg; a son, Michael Fields of the home; a sister, Gini Walters Davis of Union; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Grant was predeceased by a daughter, Amanda Powers and a brother, David Allen Walters. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 26, 2014 at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jim Cunningham. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Lower Fairforest Baptist Church, 125 Lower Fairforest Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 149 Martin Rd., Union.
