Glenda Ann Rochester Bennett

Mrs. Glenda Ann Rochester Bennett, age 69, wife of Steve Bennett of 351 Moore Rd., Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Spartanburg Co., November 13, 1951, a daughter of the late James E. Rochester and Betty Ruth Moore Rochester. She was a member of Morningstar Baptist Church of Pacolet where she was a member of the Morningstar Quartet.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Stephanie Reynolds and husband Derek of Blacksburg; two sons, Scott Bennett of Spartanburg and Brian Bennett and wife Christen of Pacolet; three sisters, Sandra Morgan and husband Phillip, and Patsy Martin all of Spartanburg, and Wanda Baty and husband Randy of Pacolet; one brother, Rick Rochester and wife Cyndi of Pacolet; a step-sister, Cathy Phillips and husband Jimmy of Bristol, TN. Mrs. Bennett is also survived by three grandchildren, Sheree Larson and husband Alex, Rebecca Reynolds and Paxton Reynolds and great-grandchildren, Izabella Larson, Nickoli Larson, and Melody Larson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Morningstar Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Michael Rochester and Rev. Jackie Carrigan. Burial will follow at Hammett Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Eddie Fowler, Steven Calloway, Alex Larson, Bobby Grizzel and Jimmy Humphries.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the services.

Due to the current health crisis, those in attendance are asked to follow COVID guidelines by wearing a mask and social distancing.

The family will be at the home 351 Moore Rd., Spartanburg.
