Glenn Howard

July 14, 1980 — September 4, 2024

Boiling Springs

Mr. Glenn Allen Howard, 44, of 102 Cantrell Ridge Dr., Boiling Springs, SC, the husband of Charity Howard, won a remarkable and courageous fight with cancer when he met Jesus on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Glenn was the beloved son of Mr. Rex (Tommy) Howard and Mrs. Louann Howard of Landrum, SC.

Glenn attended the Landrum school system in Landrum, SC. He committed his life to Christ as a young father, and those practices led him to a wonderful Christlike life.

Glenn is survived by his wife Charity, who has been the love of his life since the young age of 14. His loving children; Johnny (Kaitlyn) Howard and Dakota (Madison) Howard of Union, SC, and Destiny (Jacob) Howard of Boiling Springs, SC. His grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Pop"; Addilyn Grace Jolley, Brody Storm Howard, Emerye Sage Howard, Willow Howard (arriving in January) and 2 bonus grandchildren; Amber Rain Gardin and Hudson Cohen; His siblings, Angela Dill, Jack Howard, Gary Howard and Steve Howard.

Glenn also leaves brothers and sisters-in-laws and loving nieces and nephews that he thought of and treated as his own and other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Glenn was self-employed and partnered with his brothers as a skilled outdoor contractor, logger and grader.

Glenn loved the outdoors and everything that came with it. He loved everyone that he met, and they loved him for his big personality, quick wit, and inspirational spirit. He would help anyone in need, never met a stranger, and always believed in doing the right thing, even if it was hard. His children, grandchildren, and other family members knew how much he loved them, especially his wife, the "Lolli" to his "Pop"!

The family will be gathered at Glenn's home and receiving friends throughout the day on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church in Union, SC, at 4pm on Sunday. Carrying Glenn to his final resting place will be his brothers, Jack, Gary, and Steve Howard along with Jose Ramirez, Josh Williford, Dalton Howard, Blaine Floyd, Logan Carter, and James Howard.
