Goldie H. Maynor

July 19, 2015 Mrs. Goldie Horne Maynor, age 94 formerly of 226 Hames Ave., Jonesville, SC. passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. Mrs. Maynor was born in Union, May 9, 1921, a daughter of the late William Franklin Horne and Violet Horne. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and member of Gilead Baptist church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a son: Roger Childers and wife Terry of the home; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Susan Martin of Jonesville. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2015 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Robert Branch. The family will receive friends Monday 1:00 until 2:45 prior to the service at the Holcombe Funeral Home Jonesville Chapel. Memorials may be made to Gilead Baptist Church, P.O. Box 38, Jonesville, SC 29353 or Gentiva Hospice, 905 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
