Gwendolyn Lee Williams

Mrs. Gwendolyn L Williams, age 79, of Buffalo, widow of Larry H. Williams, passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday February 2, 2026.

Mrs. Williams was born in Pacolet, SC on February 10, 1946, the daughter of the late Vernon Bud Lee and Essie Lavonia Hipp Lee.

Surviving are two sons, Travis Williams (Dana) of Tennessee, and Kevin Williams (Gretchen) of Alabama; two brothers, David Lee (Rhonda) of Union and Jerry Lee of Maryland; five grandchildren: Brittany W. Barr of Columbia, Ryan Williams of North Carolina, Ramie and Madison Williams of Alabama, and Trenda Williams of Tennessee, brother-in-law Pete Petrick, sister-in-law Francis Green, and a number of nephews and one niece. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by a son Marvin O'Neil Williams, and a sister, Betty Petrick.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow the services at Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Saturday February 7, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel prior to the services.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Union Post Acute, Union Medical Center, Spartanburg Medical Center, MSA Hospice, Visiting Angels, Meals on Wheels of Union, and Family Hospice.
