Harley G. Davis

March 25, 2018 Mr. Harley Gene Davis, age 68, husband of Melinda Sinclair Davis of 1709 Union Blvd., Union, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Davis was born in Union October 1, 1948, a son of the late Lewis and Betty Hawkins Davis. He was retired from the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Union. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Army. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Nicole Davis of Union; a son, Daniyel Davis of Union; two sisters, Elaine Davis and Myra Davis Boulware and husband Bobby all of Union; two brothers, Steve Davis and wife Carrie, and Ricky Davis and wife Rhonda all of Union; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was predeceased by a son, Nick Davis. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Jarvis. Burial will follow in Union Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 PM prior to service at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
