Harold Dean Davis

Harold Dean Davis Union, SC Mr. Harold Dean Davis, age 74, husband of Alice Faye Harris Davis, of 127 Seigler Road, Union, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mr. Davis was born in Union, SC on January 13, 1940 a son of the late Jesse Ben Davis and Lettie Ozella Bowling Davis. He was retired from Torrington Company. Mr. Davis was also retired after 22 years from the South Carolina National Guard. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Stacy Davis Hartley and husband Eric of Union; a son, Brian K. Davis of Union; a sister, Brenda Davis Lanier and husband Grady of Jonesville; and a brother Bobby Joe Davis and wife Donna of Jonesville; five grandchildren: Erica Skylar Hartley and Fiancée Eric Sprouse, Lindsey Hartley Dillinger and husband Justin Dillinger, Amber Breann Hartley, Salem Davis and Fiancée Nick Sumner and Heather Abernathy; two great-grandchildren: Brayden Sprouse and Bristol Dillinger and one precious god grandchild, Madyson Quinn. He was predeceased by twin sons, Ronald and Donald Davis; a sister Sandra Davis; two brothers Darrell Davis and Bruce Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ross Wilson and Rev. David Lewis. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jason Davis, Hunter Davis, Bobby Davis, Tommy Littlejohn, Joey Littlejohn and Nicholas Davis. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church. The family is at the home, 127 Seigler Rd., Union, SC 29379.
