Harold Dean Henderson

January 20, 2016 Mr. Harold Dean Henderson age 81, husband of Vera Keisler Henderson of 107 Brookside Dr., Union, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Union Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was born in Union, December 22, 1934, a son of the late Jack C. and Lucille Lovings Henderson. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and member of Ottaray Baptist Church. Mr. Henderson was retired from the US Air Force. He was a member of the Union Masonic Lodge No. 75, Scottish Rite, Union Shrine Club, Union Elks Club and was an avid Clemson fan. Mr. Henderson was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Joe Henderson and wife Cindy of Huntsville, AL; a granddaughter, Amber O'Connor and husband Sean of Seattle, WA; and a grandson, Joseph Henderson, Jr. of Huntsville, AL. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Walter Holcombe. Visitation will be held immediately following the graveside services. Memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4277. The family is at the home, 107 Brookside Drive, Union, SC 29379.
