Harold R. Hunt, Sr.

Mr. Harold Robert Hunt, Sr., age 65, husband of Margaret Bly Hunt of 219 Lawson Ave., Union, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Union Medical Center. Mr. Hunt was born in Bradford, PA, January 14, 1954, a son of the late Harold H. Hunt and Shirley Vantassel Hunt. He was a retired security guard and had also worked as a cashier with Exxon and a bus driver. Mr. Hunt was formerly a volunteer with the fire department in Perrysburg, NY. He was a big fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, the San Francisco 49'ers and pro-wrestling; particularly Goldberg. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Rhonda Hayton and husband Robert of Union and Deanna Huntski and husband Kelly of NY; three sons, Rodney Hunt, Sr. and wife Natalena and Randy Hunt all of Union and Allen Bly of NY; twenty-seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hunt leaves behind his beloved pet dog "Little Girl" who went everywhere with him. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:45 PM Friday evening, October 11, 2019 at the First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robbie Stolger.
