Harold Dean O’Dell, Jr.

Mr. Harold Dean O'Dell, Jr., age 66, of 4357 Lockhart Hwy., Union, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019. Mr. O'Dell was born in Union, April 1, 1953, a son of Peggy Farr O'Dell of the home and the late Harold Dean O'Dell, Sr. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and had worked in the construction industry. Mr. O'Dell was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Wesley Greer and wife Lauren of Spartanburg. Mr. O'Dell was predeceased by a son Jeremiah O'Dell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz. Burial will be at Lockhart Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Stan Eaves, Randy Childers, Jerry Ball Grady, Matt Farr, Wallace Thomason and Joey Allen. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 373 Wesley Chapel Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home 4357 Lockhart Hwy., Union.
