Harold D. Watson

Mr. Harold D. Watson, age 80 formerly of Union, husband of Margaret Josephine Reynolds Watson, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Brighton, CO. Mr. Watson was born in Union, SC on March 21, 1936 a son of the late Hugh Watson and Hurley Pruitt Watson. He was a graduate of Union High School and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Watson was a retired Manufacturing Supervisor, he had worked with Rockwell International in California and Gates Rubber Company in Colorado. He was a member of the American Legion of Union and Welcome Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are, two daughters, Janet Sharrai and husband Randy of Brighton, Co. and Deana Robles and husband Steve of Acworth, GA; two sons, Chuck Watson of Brighton Co. and Jeff Watson and wife Marg of Union; one sister, Marilyn Powell of Blackstone, VA; two brothers, Maxie Watson and wife Sarah of Orangeburg and Hugh Watson, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Union; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister Becky Fogle. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Jarvis. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Chuck Watson, Jeff Watson, Randy Sharrai, Steve Robles, Maxie Watson, and Hugh Watson, Jr. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12 Noon prior to the services at the church.
