Harold Wales Wood, Ii

Dr. Harold Wales Wood, II, husband of Cindy Wynn Wood of 232 Christopher Lane, Union, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 1, 2016. Dr. Wood was born in Davenport, Iowa, a son of the late Dr. Harold Wales Wood, Sr. and Kathaleen Jones Wood. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and a 1976 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic. This was the first graduating class of Sherman College. Dr. Wood was the owner and operator of Wood Chiropractic Clinic and was formerly employed with Belue Chiropractic Clinic. He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Dr. Wood was a talented singer who enjoyed gospel music, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many who will be greatly missed. Surviving in addition to his wife of seventeen years are sons: Harold Wales "Trey" Wood, II and wife Sherri and their children, Austin and Dylan Wood, Christopher Ashley Wood all of Barnwell, Justin Addis and wife Stacy and their children, Ethan Parker and Ashley Parker Crisp all of Jonesville and Jayden Peterson of the home; a sister, Pat Wood Norton of Spartanburg; a brother, William Bart Wood of Boiling Springs; two great-grandchildren, Adelyn and Parker Crisp and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Eddie Saxon. Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Dale Wynn, Tony Wynn, Jerry Barnett, Nick Simmons, Josh Addis and Jason Fowler. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the church.
