Harriett Prince Owens

Mrs. Harriett Prince Owens, age 76, of 1437 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Union Post Acute Care.

Mrs. Owens was born September 3, 1948 in Whitmire, a daughter of the late John F. Prince and Jeanette Cromer Prince.  She retired as a caretaker for Union Disability and Special Needs.  Mrs. Owens was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are a brother, James E. Prince of Columbia; a niece, Jennifer Fox and husband Charles of Union and a nephew, Stewart Prince and wife Melissa of Chapin. She is also survived a great-niece, numerous great-nephews, great great-nephews and a great great-niece. She was predeceased by an infant son.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Whitmire Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook.

Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
