Mrs. Hazel Gault Patterson, age 94, widow of Cecil J. Patterson, formerly of N. Main St., Jonesville, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Patterson was born in Adamsburg, May 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Robert and Lula Scales Gault. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Hamricks in Jonesville. Mrs. Patterson had formerly worked for Milliken and Co., Lockhart Plant. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Jean P. Deaton and husband Roger of Columbia; a sister, Mary Culpepper of Augusta, GA; a granddaughter, Meredith Boehme and husband John of Columbia; a great-granddaughter, Rilyn P. Boehme; three sisters-in-law, Pearl Gault of Adamsburg, Elaine Lawson and husband Bobby of Pacolet, and Bevia Lipsey of Jonesville; two brothers-in-law, Charles Patterson and wife Shirley and Ned Harold all of Pacolet; special cousins, Connie and Ernest Millwood of Jonesville and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Patterson was predeceased by three brothers, Bill, Don and Bud Gault. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Richard Lewis and Rev. Donna Eidson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM in the church prior to the services.
