Hazel S. Suttles

Mrs. Hazel Sprouse Suttles, age 83, of 7053 S. Pine St., Pacolet, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Suttles was born in Spartanburg Co., June 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Thomas Albert Sprouse and Mary Ivey Lee Sprouse. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Suttles was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Suttles and fiancée Gary Roberson of Pacolet; three sons, Gene Suttles and wife Yvonne of Cross Hill, Randy Suttles and wife Barbara of Chesnee and Dennis Suttles and wife Kathy of Camp Croft, two sisters, Mary Sue Smith and husband Broadus of PA and Annette Erwin of Pacolet; one brothers, Tommy Sprouse of Spartanburg; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Suttles was predeceased by two brothers, Fred Sprouse and Floyd Sprouse. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Kenneth Cash. Burial will be at Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the chapel prior to the services. Memorials may be made Spartanburg Regional Home Health, 120 Heywood Ave., Ste 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family will be at the home, 7053 S. Pine St., Pacolet.
