Mrs. Helen Marie Queen Cornelison, age 90, of 2841 Santuc-Carlisle Hwy., Union, widow of Roy A. Cornelison, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Mrs. Cornelison was born in Catoosa, GA, January 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Johnie G. Queen and Flora Sloan Queen. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Salem Baptist church where she taught the Children's Sunday School for a number of years.
Surviving are a daughter, Terry C. Sinclair and husband Dennis of Greenwood; a son, Roy A. Cornelison, Jr. and wife Jean of Union; a sister, Ann Stockburger and a brother, Leslie Queen. She is also survived by grandchildren: Angel (Robert), Tabitha (Jamie), Bambi (Bill) Trey (Laura), Brandon, and Nathan; great-grandchildren: Brittani (Bryson), Jasmine, Kirsten, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Jason, Addison, Lanie, Landon, Maci, Mackenzie, Marley, Aaron, and R.J.; and great-great-grandchildren: Logan, Emery, Dawson, Beau, Justin, and Michael and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cornelson was predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Cornelison, a granddaughter, Christy, four sisters, Julene, Betty, Doris, and Elizabeth; and four brothers, Johnny, Robert, Douglas and Billy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Wayne Cooke and Mr. R.J. Sanders. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 until 12:00PM at the church prior to the services.
Active pallbearers will be Bill Davis, Jamie Crocker, Jason Sanders, Ethan Thomason, Trey Cornelison and Robert Sanders.

The family will be at their respective homes.
