Helen Ruth Ivey

Miss Helen Ruth Ivey, age 80, formerly of 202 Barnadoe Rd., Union, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Miss Ivey was born in Union, SC July 16, 1933, a daughter of the late James Calvin Ivey and Emma Koon Ivey. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are a special friend, Shirby Duckett of Union and a cousin, John Wilson and wife Valerie of Union. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Ellen Sagar Nursing Home Activity Fund, 1817 Jonesville Hwy, Union, SC 29379. The family is at their respective homes.
