Helen (Knox) Puckett

January 31, 1932 — July 25, 2020

Buffalo

Mrs. Helen Knox Puckett, age 88, of 3566 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., widow of James Edward Puckett, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Puckett was born February 5, 1932 in Union, a daughter of the late Edgar Black Knox and Lillie Garner Knox.  She was a retired textile worker, having worked at both Union and Buffalo Mills.  Mrs. Puckett attended Full Gospel Tabernacle of God.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Norwood of Clinton; two sons, Jerry Fox of Union and James Knox of the home; a brother, James Pete Knox of Lockhart; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Vickey Morris; a son, Ernest Puckett; five sisters, Rosa Lee Thomas, Betty Jean Cagle, Kathleen Queen, Mildred Roberts, and Gracie Revels and five brothers, Mack Arthur Knox, Broadus Knox, Toby Wayne Knox, Franklin (Jank D) Knox, and Harold (P Lowe) Knox.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Helen Knox Puckett Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379.

The family is at the home, 3566 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, SC 29321.
