Henry Lee Polk, Jr.

Mr. Henry Lee Polk, Jr., age 38, of 267 Sweetwater Dr., Buffalo, husband of Ayanna Howard Polk, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Mr. Polk was born in Fort Ord, CA, November 14, 1984, a son of Vicki Darlene Polk of Union and Henry Lee Polk, Sr. and wife Brenda of Pacolet. He was a 2002 graduate of Union High School and continued his education by attending welding school in Columbia and NASCAR training school. Lee was very educated and loved working on cars. He loved his tarantulas, dogs, and his guns. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He was considered fearless and not afraid of anything. He will be greatly missed by his family and close friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife, mother and father are a daughter, Ji'Nysia Sims Polk of Buffalo; two sons, Zack Polk and Dre'Don Hull of Spartanburg; a sister, Angela Duke of Germany; two brothers, Joseph Jennings of Union and Solomon Gilkey of Pacolet; his maternal grandmother, Betty Jennings Hutt of Buffalo and his maternal grandfather, Billy Jennings of Pauline. He is also survived by several uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Sara Celeste Polk and an aunt, Debbie Jennings Pittman.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.

The family is at the home, 267 Sweetwater Dr., Buffalo.
