Mr. Horace Thomas Carter, age 95, formerly of Lockhart Hwy., Union, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Carter was born in Chester, February 10, 1925, a son of the late William Thomas Carter and Sarah Elizabeth Dickens Carter. He was retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant and was a member of McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Carter was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Union Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1438 Lockhart Hwy., Union, SC 29379.
