Imogene F. Hewitt Union, Sc

Mrs. Imogene Fowler Littlejohn Hewitt, age 79, of 903 Webber Lake Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 4, 2014 after an extended illness. Mrs. Hewitt was born in Pacolet, August 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Charlie Leon Fowler and Louise Freeman Fowler. She was retired from Milliken Co., Lockhart Plant and for the last 14 years had helped her son at the Dairi-O. Mrs. Hewitt was first married to the late Thomas Wiley "Bill" Littlejohn, Jr. Surviving are three sons, Bruce Littlejohn and wife Teresa of Union, Robbie Littlejohn and wife Wanda of Jonesville and Jeff Littlejohn and wife Melinda of Union; a sister, Frances Manus of Pacolet; two brothers, Tommy Fowler of Pacolet and Ken Fowler of Union; eight grandchildren, Shane Goings, Clint Goings, Jeff Gault, Tracy Gregory, Michael Littlejohn and wife Amber, Lee Littlejohn and wife Tiffany, Miranda Littlejohn and Rob Littlejohn and 6 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hewitt was predeceased by a daughter, Angela L. Goings and a special aunt reared in the home, Margaret Sichak. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at Ottaray Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jerry Lawson, Rev. Glenn Ribelin and Rev. Benny Green. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hewitt's grandsons along with Francis Ellis and Julius Smith will serve as active pallbearers. The following nephews are asked to serve as the honorary escort, Joey Littlejohn, Tommy Littlejohn, Tim Fowler, Gregg Fowler, Jaime Fowler, Marty Fowler, Cody Fowler and Calvin Smith along with Tommy Knox and Tom-Tom Knox. Employees of the Dairi-O are asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Ottaray Baptist Church, 200 Lowe St., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of her son, Robbie and Wanda Littlejohn, 795 Bobby Faucette Rd., Jonesville.
