Irene S. Moss

Mrs. Irene Stehle Moss, age 90, of 600 Forest St., Jonesville, widow of Arthur B. Moss, Jr., passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Moss was born in Jonesville, July 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Theodore Edward Stehle and Faye Ross Stehle. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and had formerly worked at Her Majesty and Conso in Union. Mrs. Moss was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church and a member of the Jonesville Senior Citizens.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise Silvey and husband Larry; a son, Arthur B. Moss, III; a grandson, Shane Silvey and wife Jessica; a great-grandson, Lucas Silvey all of Jonesville; a niece, Faye Watson of North Carolina and a very special friend, Anitra Vinson of Union. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Horne.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, September 26, 2022, at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Spencer and Rev. Scott Cannon. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607. The family will be at the home, 600 Forest St., Jonesville.
