Jack David Knox

A gathering to celebrate the life of Jack David Knox, who passed away February 9, 2021, will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

David, age 75, was the beloved husband of Mary Frances Knox. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Jack Knox and the late Gertrude Knox. David was raised in Union and graduated from Jonesville High School. He worked his entire professional career as an Inspector for the South Carolina Public Service Commission.

David had a great passion for his garden and his family. He was a fighter until the end.  Surviving is his loving wife of 56 years, Mary; a daughter, Teresa Knox and son-in-law Don Hogsed, Jr. of Columbia; son, Tim Knox and daughter-in-law, Tara Knox of Winnsboro; grandson, Austin Knox of Winnsboro; brothers, Kenneth Knox, and Dennis Knox; sister, Frances Burton; along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
