James T. "Bubba" Harvey, Jr.

Mr. James T. "Bubba" Harvey, Jr., age 75 of Stehle St., Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Harvey was born in Jonesville, June 13, 1947, a son of the late James T. Harvey, Sr. and Arie Faye Fowler Harvey. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from the Canteen Corp. as a supervisor and service representative. Mr. Harvey was a veteran of the SC National Guard and a member of the Mt. Joy Masonic Lodge #203. He was also a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church and had served as a volunteer fireman for many years.

He is survived by a sister, Edith H. McSwain and husband Homer of Oxford, GA; a niece and two nephews; several great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Fran Love.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 until 1:45 PM at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville.

Active pallbearers will be Dickie Boyd, Tommy Ivey, Jimmy Wilkins, Mike Maness, Hal Garner and Wayne Sanders.
