James Boyd Clark

Mr. James Boyd Clark, Sr., age 77, of 280 Rogerstown Rd., Jonesville, passed away, Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Clark was born, May 2, 1945 in Union, a son of the late William Buck Clark and Ethel Griffin Clark.  He was retired from Michelin Tire.  Mr. Clark was a member of Jonesville Church of God.  He was a lifetime member of Jonesville Masonic Lodge No. 139.  Mr. Clark was an avid fisherman, a loving father, grandfather, and friend.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter Amy Clark of Union; a son, James Clark, Jr. of the home; three grandsons, Dillon James Fowler of Roebuck, Jakob Clark and Tever Clark of Jonesville; his first wife and the mother of his children, Mary Pelham Hill; and special friends, Angela Miller and Linda Garner.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Stacy Clark; three sisters, Betty Lou Bogan, Elnora Garner, and Margaret Ann Jimmerson; and four brothers, Wade Clark, Hames Clark, Lewis Clark, and Billy Jo Clark.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by the Rev. Randy Burgess.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM prior to the services at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.
