James "Jamie" Edward Knox

Mr. James “Jamie” Edward Knox, age 54, of 3566 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Union passed away suddenly, Friday, November 7, 2025.

Mr. Knox was born October 25, 1971, in Union, SC, a son of Mrs. Shirley Fox Norwood of Clinton, SC. He was a graduate of Union High School and of Spartanburg Community College. Mr. Knox was a long haul truck driver and was a veteran of the SC National Guard. He was also a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is a wife, Patty Berry Knox of Union, a son, Dillian James Knox of Spartanburg, a sister, Jennifer Nicole DeWalt of Mauldin and a brother, Brian Eugend Knox of Clinton. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Helen and James Puckett.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Randy Cook. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM at the Chapel prior to the service. Mr. Knox will be buried at Rosemont Cemetery on Sardis Road, Union, following the funeral service.

The family is at the their respective homes.
