James G. ‘Jimmy’ Millwood

Mr. James Glenn "Jimmy" Millwood, age 55, husband of Peggy Whaley Millwood of 144 April Rd., Pacolet, passed away Monday, March 13, 2020 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Millwood was born June 3, 1964, a son of the late James E. and Shirley Spencer Millwood. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was employed with Koehler Co. in Spartanburg. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Jamie Millwood and husband Shannon of Gaffney; a son, Michael Millwood of Pacolet; a step-daughter, Mary Jane Kirby of Pacolet; a sister, Kathy Byrd and a brother, Larry Millwood both of Pacolet; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at New Beginnings Christian Church, 480 Sunny Acres Rd., Pacolet, conducted by Rev. Lisa Parfitt. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Foundation for Transplants, 5350 Poplar Ave., Suite 850, Memphis, TN 38119. The family will be at the home of his sister, Kathy Byrd, 1596 Jerusalem Rd., Pacolet Mills, SC 29372.
