James Douglas King

Mr. James Douglas King, age 65, husband of Wanda Lawless King of 1524 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Mr. King was born in Greenville, July 7, 1959, a son of the late Lonnie Ray Fowler, Sr. and Ethel Mae King Fowler. He was a beloved Carnie who traveled and worked in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee for many years and recently moved back to Union with his wife. He was a member of New Beginnings Church in Ludowici, GA.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 41years, Wanda, are a daughter, Krystal K. Langley and husband Matthew; a son, Christopher King; a sister, Argel Fowler Aguilar; a brother, Lonnie Fowler, Jr., a brother-in-law, Jerry Zavala and an aunt and uncle, Diane and Victor Taus. He is also survived by grandchildren, Matthew, Katilyn and Brooke Langley and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Zavala.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
