James "Hammerhead" Littlejohn

Mr. James Earl "Hammerhead" Littlejohn, age 73, of 155 Lee Rd., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Littlejohn was born in Pacolet, February 4, 1950, the son of the late Minnie Louise Littlejohn Wix.  He attended Spartanburg County schools and had been an employee of Bucks Alternator Service.

Surviving are three sisters, Haley Hoffman of Florida, Brenda Eller and husband Arley of Buffalo, and Betty Jean Kirby and friend Wallace Harris of Union; a brother, Johnny Burgess of Buffalo; a special friend, Gail Hyatt of West Springs and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Galloway and brothers, Bobby Joe Kirby and Ernest Edward Kirby, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Goins and Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at West Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Riddle, Brad Eller, Andy Eller, David Haney, Tyler Haney and Roy Turner.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Brenda and Arley Eller, 722 Riley Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321.
