James Patrick Mailler

September 6, 2018 Mr. James Patrick Mailler, age 74, husband of Kathleen Space Mailler, of 1844 Tinker Creek Rd., Union, formerly of New York, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Mailler was born January 13, 1944 in Cornwall, NY, a son of the late Royal Francis Mailler, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Clouser Mailler. He was retired from Mailler and Son's Landscaping and he and his wife formerly owned the J&K Deli in Mountainville, NY. He was a volunteer fireman with the Highland Engine Co. and the Mountainville Fire Department. Mr. Mailler had also served with the police department in Cornwall and the town of Montgomery. Mr. Mailler was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a Staff Sargent. He enjoyed golf, fishing and repairing antique clocks. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, James P. Mailler, Jr. and wife Lisa of Dryden, NY and Roger Mailler of Clarmore, OK; his twin sister, Patricia Hilton of Bloomburg, NY; and three grandchildren, Lauren Mailler, Brandon Mailler, and Tripp Mailler. He was predeceased by one brother, Royal George Mailler. Services with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
