James William Moore, Jr.

January 19, 2016 Mr. James William "Jim" Moore, Jr., age 49 of 4460 Lockhart Hwy., Union, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. Mr. Moore was born in Lockhart, October 26, 1966, a son of the late James W. Moore, Sr. and Jessie "Dibbie" Cameron Moore. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and formerly employed with the City of Union. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Shirley M. McCloud and husband Rick with whom he made his home, and Edna M. Chapman of Lake Murray; two nieces, Hedi Gillian and Miranda M. Chavis; and three nephews, Christopher Rogers, Rick McCloud, Jr. and Johnny Chapman. Mr. Moore was predeceased by a sister, Iris M. Rogers. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. The family will receive friends after the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Philippi Baptist Church, Building Fund, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC 29379 The family will be at the home, 4460 Lockhart Hwy., Union.
