June 15, 2015 Mr. James Glenn "Buddy" Mosley, age 81, husband of Matrel Bobo Mosley of 138 49 Loop, Union, passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mr. Mosley was born in Union, April 9, 1934, a son of the late Coley Livingston Mosley and Elminor Hipps Mosley Greene. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Milliken Co., Jackson. Mr. Mosley was a member of Morningside Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Linda Garner and husband Al of Union; two sons, Vernon Lee Mosley and wife Susie Sellars Mosley of Whitmire and Stanley Mosley and wife Belinda of Union; two sisters, Hazel Swanson and Betty Becknell both of Union; one brother, Larry Joe Mosley and a step-brother, Earl Greene both of Union; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special pet, Tinsey. Mr. Mosley was predeceased by a brother, Coley Mosley, Jr. and a grandson, Bradley O'Neil Mosley. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell and Rev. Eddie Saxon. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Terry Wayne Bobo, Danny Wayne Knox, David Barber, William Mosley, Lewis Davis and Dewayne Smith. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg SC 29302. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Linda and Al Garner, 128 49 Loop, Union.
