James Allen Murphy

Mr. James Allen Murphy, age 62, of 314 Osborne St., Union, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Union Medical Center.

Mr. Murphy was born August 3, 1962 in Newport News, Virginia, a son of the late Edward James Murphy and Marion Elizabeth Stillwell Murphy.  He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.  Mr. Murphy retired as a commercial painter.

Surviving are five children, Thomas James Murphy and fiancée Amber Allison of the home, Rebecca Murphy of the Home, Jacob Murphy of Virginia, Joshua Murphy of Virginia, and Brittany Murphy of Florida; a brother, Kenneth Murphy of Pomaria; a sister, Susan Murphy of Pomaria; and two great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family is at their respective homes.
