James Arthur Vess

April 26, 2019 Mr. James Arthur "Jamie" Vess, age 47, husband of Gil Jimarez of Pantego, TX, passed away suddenly at his home, Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Mr. Vess was born and raised in Union. A son of the late Arthur Lee Vess and Georgia Inman Vess. He was a 1989 graduate of Union High School and was employed as an X-ray technician at Baylor Hospital in Dallas TX. Surviving are two sisters, Cindy V. Haney and Susan V. McAbee both of Union; four loving nieces: Bridgit Smith Jennings, Laura McAbee Cornelison, Casey Dianna Smith and Erica Haney; one nephew, Matthew Haney; three great-nieces, Jaela Smith, Nyla Smith and Addison Cornelison and two great-nephews: Devon Smith and Landon Johnson. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Main Street Junction, Union. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Miracle League of Union, P.O.
