Jamie Tyler Whitlock

Mr. Jamie Tyler Whitlock, age 28, of 112 Flynn Street, Union, passed away February 5, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Whitlock was born September 1, 1992 in Spartanburg, a son of Patti Berry Whitlock of Lockhart and Jamie Walter Whitlock and wife Emily of Union.  He was employed with G-SCRAP of Union.  Mr. Whitlock was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a daughter, Danika Elizabeth Jo Whitlock of the home; his maternal grandfather, Carl F. Berry of McConnells; his paternal grandparents, Garvin and Sharon Whitlock of Gray Court; three special cousins, C.J. Whitlock, Cayson Whitlock, and Caylee "Sissy" Whitlock; a special friend, Becky Garner; a number of aunts, uncles, and special cousins.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Shirley Inman Gregory; his paternal grandmother, Debra Whitlock; and his Uncle Chad Anthony Whitlock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Kyle Wilson, Tyler Ellis, Steve Berry, Eddie Berry, Glenn Berry, Alan Ermy Wilson, David Gowan, and Chris Sumner.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family request those in attendance follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
