Janice K. Austin

November 1, 2015 Mrs. Janice Kent Austin, age 63 wife of Douglas R. Austin of 335 Meadow Woods Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Austin was born February 8, 1952 a daughter of the late Ornan W. Kent and Barbara J. Kent. She was retired from Milliken Co., Monarch Plant and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Sarah Rhinehart and husband Mark of Union; two sons, Randy Austin and wife Malisa of Talladega, AL and Gene Austin and wife Stephanie of Supply, NC; a brother, Harold David Kent of Lockhaven, PA; a nephew, Matthew Wayne Kent of Bloomsburg, PA; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Rick Cook. Visitation will be held 7:00 until 9:00 PM Monday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at the home, 335 Meadow Woods Rd., Union.
