Janice Elaine Fowler

Mrs. Janice Elaine Fowler, age 84, formerly of Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Union, November 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Gary Goings Trammell and Mattie Davis Trammell. She was employed as a sales clerk and had worked at Fast Phil’s in Jonesville.

She is survived by her husband Jean Fowler of Jonesville; a son, Wayne L. “Baldy” Burgess, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Jonesville; a grandson, Terry Allen Burgess and wife Spring; three great granddaughters, Mina Burgess, Cora Burgess and Hazel Burgess; a brother, Francis Trammell and wife Marie of Jonesville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Palmer and Maggie Howell and a brother, Gary Trammell, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the Jonesville Chapel prior to the services.
