Janie E. Bentley

June 21, 2016 Miss Janie Eunie Bentley, age 89, formerly of Bentley Town Rd., Union, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Miss Bentley was born in Union, September 10, 1926, a daughter of William and Maggie Farr Bentley. She was a homemaker and a member of Philippi Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Betty Webber of Spartanburg and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will be at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Philippi Baptist Church, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
