Jeanette Glace Johnson

March 16, 2016 Ms. Jeanette Glance Johnson, age 75 of 8889 Lockhart Hwy, Sharon, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Ms. Johnson was born in Lockhart, SC November 30, 1940, a daughter of the late John Robert Glance and Sula Farr Glance. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and later earned her nursing certificate. Ms. Johnson retired as a CNA with Wallace Thomson Hospital following thirty years of service. She was a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Johnson Andrews; a son, Darrell "Tank" Johnson; a granddaughter, Brittany Andrews; a grandson, Dallas Hall; one great-grandchildren, Skylar Friend all of the home: two sisters, Yolette Kington and Agnes Wood both of Greensboro, NC and her beloved pet dog, Heidi. Ms. Johnson was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Starnes, Elsie Ward and Polly Slagle and a brother, Charles Glance. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Lockhart Cemetery conducted by Rev. Craig Marshall. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church, 7386 Lockhart Hwy, Sharon, SC 29742. The family is at the home, 8889 Lockhart Hwy, Sharon.
