Mrs. Jeanette Elizabeth Robinson Johnson, age 91, passed away at Rosecrest Senior Living in Inman, Saturday, July 23, 2022 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Union on October 21, 1930, a daughter of the late Lewis Robert Robinson "Diamond" and Loree James Robinson. She attended Union High School and was a retired textile employee. Jeanette was a member of the Joy Club and she was regular in attendance at New Prospect Baptist Church in Inman and was a member of Unity Methodist Church in Union. She was kind, funny, thoughtful, and smart. Jeanette also enjoyed working in her yard, as long as her health permitted. She also liked listening to country music.

Surviving is a sister, Patricia Ann Robinson Harmon; a niece, La Shelle Adams Limehouse; a great-nephew, Patric C. Limehouse (Cameron and Anna); and a great-niece, Britton L. Limehouse (Kingston). Jeanette was predeceased by her husband, Ernest "Scoopy" Johnson and two sons, Kenneth Wayne Johnson and Michael Robert Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the following ladies for all the support, care, kindness, love, and gifts given to Jeanette during her illness; Peggy McDowell, Lucille West, Carron Stephens, Jennie Gibbs, Chris Mann, Terry McGaha and Karon Heitman. All the ladies, each one has special memories with her to keep in your heart. She was enriched by the friendship of each one, may God bless you all.
