Jeffrey "Bodean" Alan Trantham

Mr. Jeffrey Alan "Bodean" Trantham, age 56, husband of Terri O'Shields Trantham, of 218 Westmead Rd., Union, passed away, Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Trantham was born November 29, 1964 in Union, a son of the late Wayne Austin Trantham and Margaret Joan Lee "Peggy" Trantham.  He was a 1984 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of Georgia Tech.  Mr. Trantham was employed as Mid Atlantic Regional Safety Manager of Alston Construction.  He attended Glory Baptist Church and Hebron Baptist Church.  Mr. Trantham was a car enthusiast and a member of the Show-N-Shine Car Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Dusty Trantham of Pauline and Kyle Trantham and fiancée Brooke Rogers of Union; a sister, Andrea Elaine Trantham of Asheboro, NC; four brothers, Mike Trantham and wife Karen of West Springs, Tony Trantham and wife Cindy of Foley, AL, Reese Trantham of Pensacola, FL, and David Trantham and girlfriend Angela Millwood of Little Mountain, NC; four grandchildren, Thomas Trantham, Carter Trantham, Janie Trantham, and Zyra Rogers; his life long best friend, Rod Knight of Prosperity; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Glory Baptist Church conducted by Pastor David Sinclair and Josh Rochester. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Whitener, Gene LeMaster, Darryl DeBruhl, Gene Revis, Blaine Moore, and Brian Wells, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
