Jeremy Dennis Brown

Mr. Jeremy Dennis Brown, age 43, of Kelly Rd., Union, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at his home. Jeremy was affectionally known by his many friends at "Hermie".

Born in Spartanburg, May 2, 1980, he was the son of Dennis Howard Brown and Deborah Henson Brown of the home. Jeremy was a 1998 graduate of Union High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina where he was also the recipient of many academic awards. He was formerly employed in the I.T. department with the University of South Carolina, Union campus.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Mandi Brown of the home; his maternal grandmother, Betty Henson Williamson of Aiken; an aunt, Layna Henson Clester of Knoxville, TN; an uncle, Patton Bruce Henson of Aiken and many cousins including a special cousin, Jackson Clester. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Bruce Lane Henson and his paternal grandparents, Doris Brown and Howard and Coqui Brown.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.
