Jerry Wayne Farr

Mr. Jerry Wayne Farr, age 75, husband of Sue Lemons Farr, of 128 Park Dr., Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Farr was born in Union, June 4, 1948, a son of the late Chester and Yvonne Hodge Farr. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Lander College. He previously worked for the S.C. Department of Corrections and was a former member of the S.C. National Guard. Mr. Farr was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 and a half years, Sue, are a son, Michael Jeremy Farr of the home; a cousin, Judy Graham and husband Gerald of Union; a sister-in-law, Easter Steele of the home; two brothers-in-law, Ned Lemons and wife Rachel of Pacolet and Ray Lemons and wife Wanda of Jonesville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the services.

The family will be at the home, 128 Park Dr., Jonesville.
