Jerry Dean Fowler

Mr. Jerry Dean Fowler, age 64, husband of Brenda Green Fowler of 287 Black Bottom Rd., Union, SC passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Fowler was born April 12, 1949, a son of the late Hoyt Earl Fowler and Lois Edith Maness Fowler. He was formerly employed with H&H Metal. Mr. Fowler was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church where he was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class and a member of the Brotherhood. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Deana Fowler; a son, Chris Fowler and wife Sharon; a step-daughter, Angela Sanders and husband Shannon all of Union; a step-son, David Greene of the home; a sister, Mary Ann French; a brother, Wayne Fowler and wife Wanda all of Union and seven grandchildren. Mr. Fowler was predeceased by two sisters, Brenda Farr and Betty Joe Gault. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2014 Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Shannon Sanders, David Greene, Steven Brewer, Justin Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Chris Brewer, Matthew Massey and Richard Brewer, Jr. Members of the Men's Sunday School Class are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday evening at the church. Memorials may be made to Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 557 Kelly Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his brother, Wayne and Wanda Fowler, 556 Sonoco Rd., Union.
