Jerry S. Hamm

Mrs. Geraldine Smith "Jerry" Hamm, age 85, of 504 Richard St., Union, widow of Gary Hamm, passed away, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Hamm was born in Charlotte, NC, March 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Jack and Estelle Moss Smith. She was a graduate of Union High School and Cecil's Business College. Mrs. Hamm retired in management from Wallace Thomson Hospital and she was a member of the Union Church of Christ. Surviving are three sons, Scott Hamm and wife Carol with whom she made her home, Steve Hamm and wife Rita of Greensboro, NC and Greg Hamm of Chapin; six grandchildren, Summer Hamby, Dana Newton, Todd Hamm, Katie Holder, Kelly Hamm and Mitch Hamm and thirteen great-grandchildren. Due to the current health concerns, private graveside services will be held at Union Memorial Gardens. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
